Center for Educational Testing and Evaluation to release new instructional tools

The Center for Educational Testing and Evaluation (CETE) at the University of Kansas will release new formative assessment tools this week, marking the first time CETE releases formative assessment tools that target the Common Core Standards for English Language Arts. This continues CETE’s efforts to assist Kansas schools’ transition to using these educational content standards as the basis for instruction.

KU hosts test fraud conference in May

The Center for Education Testing and Evaluation (CETE) at the University of Kansas will host the Conference on Statistical Detection of Potential Test Fraud on May 23 – 24. This conference will be the first scholarly conference focusing on statistical approaches to identifying test fraud, a growing concern as methods of test administration evolve and new ways of committing test fraud increase.
